tonight was kristi’s last night at work. i’m sad to see her go, but i know she will have plenty of fun in washington, where she’s moving with her husband. we were both cashing out at the same time tonight when she told me she was only moving out there for a project her husband is working on which will take 2-3 years, and after they will find a permanent home back in new york where she’s from. i told her to enjoy this change, and that there are many joys and blessings to be found in washington. we took a selfie before i bid her farewell and cashed out.
i walked to my car hoping everything will go well with their move and that sometime in the future kristi and i will cross paths again and she’ll tell me all about how she’s living in her dream home somewhere in new york.
