today, we had a 1 minute meeting in the back with all the employees to announce employee of the month. there’s one for front of house and one for back of house. the two guys who won deserved it, not taking anything away from them, but i wonder when reggie or alexis will win. reggie is a dishwasher. he works long hours, does his job well, and puts up with all the bullshit that goes on back there. alexis does the same. she never calls out and works host, ga, togo’s, and trains. there are a lot of us so i guess it’s hard work noticing hard work sometimes.
if it were up to me, they would’ve been won, but it isn’t, so we continue to work.
