my manager asked what was going on and why i didn’t accept the bartender position. i told him i was leaving soon, and that i wanted to get back into other parts of my life i’ve let slip away while i’ve been serving tables. he wants me to stay through holidays, but with everything going on, i’m not sure if i can. things have become almost unbearable there, not because of management, but because of the nature of the job and the part-time coworkers that come with it.
later in the night, he told me 2018 would be big for me. it was random because it was in the middle of all the rush, but i wrote that in my daily journal and circled it.
i’m ready for it.
