i was in the back when the screams and the cheers were going on. i knew it was my party at table 63. i walked to the front and noticed the birthday girl had been proposed to. my first thought was “maaaaaaaaan i fucking missed it.” i have never seen a proposal in real life, but i’ve always wanted to. i was 20 feet and wall away, but a bday and a proposal?! in the same day?! what an eventful dinner. she told me earlier in the night she was turning 26. i’m 2 years away from 26, but something tells me i’m further away from being engaged.
