about a month or so ago someone ‘caught’ a worker of a local tokyo buffet cutting onions by a dumpster. the news outlets said he was cutting onions on the ground, which was very inaccurate. i drove by the buffet today and they changed their name. fortunately, the owners are still the same according to an angry google review. i say fortunately because people these days will make a big deal out of anything. i know a lot of people who garden and would prepare dinner on their patio or back porch. it’s not a big deal. he was cutting onions on a cutting board elevated from the ground. i don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but it isn’t as big of a deal as some people make it.
they’re just looking for a story, i guess.
