today was my brother’s 30th birthday. my mom, him, and i all went out for lunch to kobe by the food lion he used to work at in holly springs. to my surprise, kobe was better than i had thought. i got the teriyaki chicken which came with zuchinni, carrots, and onions. the yum sauce was the best i’ve had since some random place in greenville with chaz a few years ago for halloween at ecu.
i find it hard to believe he’s 30, but i hope this new decade treats him better than his 20’s. i hope his 40’s treats him better than his 30’s. i hope his life will continue to get better as he continues to grow older. my sister turned 30 three years ago, today it was my brother, and in 6 years it’ll be me.
