i’m watching the live trial for 2 of my high school classmates. they’re on trial for a double murder committed in 2014. according to wral, they’re seeking the death penalty for those two. i was close with one of the guys freshman year because we were in the same ap class. he was a good kid, i wonder where it all went wrong. life takes us our separate ways despite the paths we cross. it’s shameful, humbling, and a bit saddening.
i pray for better days.
