i looked up phd and grad school programs at duke tonight. it had me motivated to go back and finish school. having that motivation exposed regret that’s been hidden deep in my mind that i should’ve locked down and finished school on time like 90% of my classmates. no matter what i do or what life does to me, it never seems like i’m on time. i always feel a few steps behind in comparison to others. not only that, but behind on my expectations of myself. the struggle is a long, winding road. the key is to find the drive and keep it.
