i’m still not used to staples center without kobe suited up. i tuned in during the fourth quarter to the lakers/bucks game tonight. the game went to overtime and it’s about 1am as i type this. i haven’t stayed up for a lakers home game since kobe retired. not only that, this reminds me of times living in apex staying up watching the lakers on tnt and espn. those were good times, back when the league wasn’t so watered down. i wish i could love the league how i did growing up, but it’s just not the same. feels like it lacks competition and passion.
the game of basketball though? that’s different. i’ll always love the game of basketball, my first love.
