welcome december. to celebrate, bagel and i went to ipswich. we walked around the soccer fields twice, but as we approached the car, bagel wanted to walk around the river. as we were walking, i was looking at all the benches and trees. at ipswich, they have benches and trees dedicated to people who have passed. it’s a plaque with their name, their dates, and a sentiment from their loved ones. one of the benches had these flowers with a raccoon dressed as a bee and a halloween bucket. it was so heart-warming. i don’t know what else to write for today, but that’s a detail i know i’ll be gladly reminded of when i come across today’s entry in the future.

if you were to tell me years ago that the black cement 3’s would be sitting, i would’ve told you that you were crazy but that’s the case with the latest black cement 3 release. i don’t wear jordans anymore, but the black cement 3 was my favorite model and colorway of all time. they were at hibbett so i ordered them for retail. they came in today and i can’t wait to wear them as they are going under the tree for now. i always wanted a pair of the fear 4’s, which also just came out, but i think they’re going to go on sale so i’ll wait.

happy gday to money and happy thanksgiving if you are reading this. this past year was different to say the least, but i’m thankful for so much. my heart is filled with so much love. there were so many people i leaned on this year, so many people that were there for me that i’m not sure i can pay back. it’s also the 12th thanksgiving bagel and i are spending together, so that makes it extra special as 12 is his special number and thanksgiving is our first holiday we ever spent together. i’m feeling under the weather so i’m going to stay home and watch the national dog show with bagel and some football afterwards.

before heading to the gym, i had a therapy appointment tonight. towards the end of the session, my therapist asked if had a sister because she couldn’t remember. i told her i did and she said i would be a great brother. that’s the sweetest thing someone has said to me in a while. it made me feel good about things. then she went on to tell me that out of all her clients she enjoys talking to me because it’s always real conversation. throughout this past year, i can’t count on how many times she’s been there for me week after week after week. i don’t have much else to write, but her words warmed my heart.

paper towel theories, 11.26.24

i have this theory that i forget until i come across it in real life. is it me or are paper towel dispensers getting stingy with the amount of paper towel they give you? it takes so long for the automated paper towel dispenser to give you one and when it does, it’s small af. even the pull-down ones are difficult sometimes. then by the time it gives you another paper towel, you’re so frustrated you walk away with your hands still semi-wet. this is done to conserve energy and conserve waste. at least, that’s my theory. plus, it’s effective.

we had our second game of the season earlier this afternoon and we got beat lmaooooo. i took a look at the other team and thought it was a lick because they didn’t have height, nor did they have subs but boy was i wrong. i think our team is good, we just don’t have chemistry. whatever the case, we went to green tea for a meal afterwards. green tea is a chinese spot right next to atlantic toyota, where i got the sequoia’s timing belt changed earlier this year. i’ve never been, but it was actually really good. the general tso’s chicken, the lobster, and the fried rice were all delicious.

win or lose, we might have to make this a post-game ritual from now on.

at the funny bone, 11.23.24

we went to the funny bone tonight to see bill bellamy. bill bellamy is a legend for sure, but i haven’t kept up with him since middle school, which is when i first saw how to be a player. he was hilarious. even his opener was funny af. plus, they had good funnel cake fries which made the experience even better lmao. he talked about going to africa, everybody getting arrested in connection with diddy, and the lbgtq community. the only other comedy show i’ve been to was with obed summer of 2023 in new york city and that was also hilarious. so far with comedy shows i’m 2/2.

i don’t want to get over hyped, but i’ll be looking to go 3/3 in the next year or so.
