david stopped by the shop today and we got to talking about what happened. the conversation was introspective on life, death, and everything in between. we are all living on borrowed time, and knowing that, we can’t afford to live anywhere else but in the moment. living in the past is costly. living in the future is anxiety-ridden. there’s no place but now. we know this, but the nature of life allows us to take things for granted, although there are times when life humbles us in ways arrogance can’t wrap its head around.
this is one of those times.
