this first week at work has went smoothly. that is all in part to the team i am on. it’s 7 of us. everyone on the team is extremely intelligent, no lie. they all are crazy smart, but more than that they’ve been welcoming to me. most, if not all, know my dad was how i got the job. it’s tricky because i don’t want to give off the impression that the only reason i’m there is because of dad. i want to show them even though yes i did get in through networking, that i belong there. i want to contribute and i want to earn my stripes so to speak. another thing about the team that’s cool is we are all 27/28, so around the same age. it just so happened to work out like that. first week is officially in the books as i write this and i’m excited.
let’s hope this next week goes just as smoothly.
