tonight, we went to woods of terror in greensboro. on the way there, this guy driving behind me skipped the double lines and drove past me. we ended parking adjacent to each other in the woods of terror parking field. i don’t get why people do that. it’s like when someone cuts you off only to end up at the same red light as you. useless. regardless, the only other time i’ve been to woods of terror was in 2015 with money and lance. it was good last time, but this time was even better. the actors were on point, the night was a perfect temperature, and the vibe all around was spooky. i was super impressed with the decorations. for example, when we walked through the bait shop, it smelled like salt-water fish. those attention to details made the experience that much better. i was more sight-seeing than actually getting scared. in 2015, i walked through this 3d tunnel with spinning graphics and i remember feeling like i was about to fall over. it always stuck with me because the illusion was so real. that same 3d tunnel was here this go around, and i literally felt i was about to fall over again. i thought i was prepared, but i wasn’t. luckily, i maintained my balance. it took us 2 hours to finish all the attractions. afterwards we sat at the pumpkin patch finishing the night with warm apple cider donuts.
october is my favorite month and spooky szn is in full effect.
