i took bagel to the vet to get his booster for
his lyme disease vaccine today. they were busy, because when i called to
notify of our arrival, they didn’t respond for 20 some minutes. it was all hood
as it gave me the perfect opportunity to test out a heated blanket i bought at
walmart off main street on clearance for $7. it was lowkey chilly today. i’m guessing
this is due to leftover residue from our mini snow storm yesterday. whatever
the case, i left the windows open for fresh air, and as the cabin was turning
brick, i plugged the blanket in. to my surprise, it was fairly warm. it kept me
cozy until they called for bagel to come in. the lyme disease booster went
well. the lady said bagel might be sore on his left hip for a day, but that
should be it. i left the blanket on until we got home.
as i took bagel in and rolled the blanket up, i thought to myself how convenient it is to have one for the car, although i hope i don’t have to use it much more heading into the spring/summer.
