i’m one of those people who doesn’t believe in expired food. it has to taste funny or smell funny to be bad. i think expiration dates are made prematurely so companies can avoid lawsuits. is there any factual backing to support my claims? no, but beliefs are beliefs which sometimes may go against lack of evidence. anyways, i’m at work doing the retail count on saturday and i noticed a few items had expired. i took them off the floor and to the back. we had a lot of vegan cauliflower puffs. the most recent had expired almost a month ago, but i still took it home. when i opened it later that night, it didn’t taste spoiled, it just wasn’t good. still i kept it on the counter. today, i decided to revist them and holy shit are they good. i don’t know the type of flavor or what it’s seasoned with, but they are good. plus they are vegan, gluten-free, you know all that nonsense lol.
may have to make these a part of my regular pantry snack line up.
