with one day of snow, and the few days of rain that
followed, today was clear. although i like my rain, my car has been in need of
a wash for a few months. i took advantage of the clear skies and high 50’s by
washing the sequoia. as soon as i pulled up, i was greeted by a guy i always
see there. throughout my time there, he would come up and start conversation.
we’ve seen each other before, but we’ve never interacted past greeting. he
always shows love though. today introduces himself as uncle b. he tells me if i
ever need anything, to holla at him. he ended up in harrisburg by way of chicago,
but is from brooklyn. uncle b had me cracking up, but one thing he said that
caught me off guard was that he goes with schoolboy q’s mom. that was mad
random lol.
as i drove off, he reiterated that shall i need anything, to come back and holla at him. people like uncle b make the world a better place as we could all use more kindness in our lives.
