because of a big cheating ring caught in the biology department, we have to take our laptops to class to take our exams online with a lockdown browser. i took my genetics exam and headed to animal physiology afterwards. instead of writing my notes by hand on a legal pad, i decided to try typing up notes because i had my laptop with me. i found i liked it a lot better as i can type faster than i write, allowing me to focus more on the lecture than to rush and write notes. my laptop is kind of heavy and isn’t convenient to take around, so i may have to invest in a surface go or a tablet of some sort.
