went to home depot, they had no perlite, but i bought a moisture/ph/light meter and succulent food. went to lowes, saw my guy travis, and got a pot as well as sand and white pebbles. when i got home, i repotted my first succulent ever on the front porch. i think i did a decent job as the succulent is in the new pot, but damnit did some leaves fall off lol. shit is leaning as we speak, but i put about an inch of pebbles at the bottom of the pot, then filled the rest with a 50/50 mix of sand and soil, and topped it off with white pebbles. to be honest, i had hella fun doing it. my mom told me to send her a photo, and she said it looks good! having indoor plants could be another hobby to add to my arsenal, and i’m looking forward to researching more plants i can grow in my room with bagel.
my parents always had hella plants in the house growing up, and i never thought anything of it, but looking back, i should’ve appreciated it more.
