every other thursday, the company has a virtual
townhall where the ceo sings happy birthday, the company introduces new hires,
and updates are given. may birthdays were in order for today, but since the ceo
has a may birthday, the coo sung the happy birthdays. also, the coo announced
he was retiring which came out of nowhere. maybe others had an idea, but i did
not at all. the company announced they were lifting mask mandates next week as
well as us having a company shutdown for a week in between christmas and new
years. shit, that’s like a whole week off we get that’s paid. i’m not
complaining at all.
besides the sad news that our coo is retiring, i’d say this townhall as pretty positive.
