they live streamed nipsey’s funeral service today. i watched all 3.5 hours. i still can’t believe he’s gone. i consider myself an emotional individual, but i rarely cry. i thought i would bawl my eyes out, but surprisingly i only shed a few thug tears during the whole service lol. most of them came when blacc sam was speaking of his little bro. he reminisced on times nip built a computer at age 12, to nip having his back in a fight, etc, etc. you could tell sam was speaking from the heart by the way he was gripping the mic so tightly. the whole world proud of nip like blacc sam said, but the whole world proud of blacc sam, too. as a younger brother myself, i can tell you that we want to be like our older brothers, no matter how old we grow or how much we accomplish. nip wouldn’t be nip withouth blacc sam and blacc sam wouldn’t be blacc sam without nip. i think we call that brotherhood.
