because bagel won’t sleep directly on his big barker (he needs a bolster), i’ve been putting his old bed on top and letting him sleep that way. i’ve noticed his old bed, which i bought 3 years ago, has gone flat so i’ve been in the market for another top bed lately. today after ecology lab, i found a good-sized bed with quality foam at tj maxx in concord. as i was in line, a lady comes up and says to me ‘boy, whoever is getting that bed will be a happy camper.’ she was so sweet, we had a short conversation about catahoulas and how lovely dogs are before i got called up to the registers. as i put the bed in the car, it fit perfectly in the back.
depending on bagel’s likeness to his new bed, i may have to get another one for the sequoia.
