the super powers, 1.12.24

clark came to my desk today because he found a phone in the bathroom and was wondering what to do. my best bet was to contact hr to send a mass email to the second floor and somebody would eventually come get the phone. he commented on my desk and said he loves how the pens are set up. the pens are just organized so it doesn’t speak much about me, but more about clark because he is such a kind human. i told him i’m kind of ocd about these things and he said that’s alright because it’s actually a super power. he said if da vinci and van gogh were alive today, they’d call them crazy things, but they’re actually genuises. that made me feel good. clark walked back to his desk to email one of the hr directors we have onsite, but the whole quirks being super powers stuck with me.

he’s too kind, which the world could use more of.
