the notebook, 12.11.24

i should be asleep because i gotta wake up tomorrow to help uncle dave move a few things, but i’m watching the notebook and it’s one of the best movies i’ve ever seen. i can’t shut it off. i saw it for the first time when i was a teenager, but it didn’t hit how it’s hitting now. how in the world did rachel mcadams do the notebook and mean girls in the same year? that’s a hell of a feat. i definitely understand women now when they refer to the notebook as an ideal romance.

a love like noah and allie’s would actually be incredible, except i’d prefer it without the separation.
