happy cambodian new year’s. now that that’s out
the way, i was checking facebook memories and it reminded me how pure life was
in apex. 10 years ago (a decade!) i posted two statuses. one said
“school’s out. welcome to the good life.” the other read “im going
on a date tonight yo!!!” hahahaha what a time. i remember parts of that
day. i was riding around looking for a scooter to buy shorty because i enjoyed
scootering at the time. also chris brown’s video for beautiful people had him
riding around in scooters with the homies, so considering my hobby and how fun
they looked like they were having, i wanted to recreate that with someone who
was special to me at the time. i remember all we had to worry about was school,
and i didn’t even worry about that, so life was on 1000.
simple, simple times.
