today was my first day working. waking up wasn’t too difficult, but it was still a struggle. the office/lab space is on the third floor and it’s pretty damn cool if you ask me. the facility looks brand new, and it makes sense because they just moved here from another location in cambridge. i met with the head of hr and she gave me a laptop for work, a notebook, new england chocolate, a reusable tote with a zippered pocket on the interior, and a blanket. i loved everything, especially the blanket. not only that, the people are so kind. i saw a girl passing through in the hallway with a coworker. the coworker asked me if i was my dad’s son, and when i told him yes, he said he could tell lol. the girl then said she knew about bagel because her dog is coco and another coworker’s dog is named cookie. shoutout to the food names, i love it!
looking forward to not only the rest of the week, but to the upcoming months.
