i wore the big bangs to workout today. when i’m finished and walking towards the east side of the building, one of the security officers, an older white man with a greying beard, is talking to a facilities worker. he sees me, stops me, then says ‘do you mind turning those off sir?’ lmaooooooo. i’ve never spoken to him before, but i love that type of energy. i joked with him and the facility worker i only had them on because i didn’t want to get hit by anyone coming off the freight elevator, which they were standing in front of.
i typically don’t like to bring attention to myself, but wearing those shoes was a nice ice-breaker for an amusing interaction with a couple of strangers.
