i was watching graham bensinger interview rob dyrdek before work and man, that mayne rob dyrdek a legend. in middle school/high school rob & big and fantasy factory had mtv poppin. i would binge when i could. rob’s life style embodied what i wanted mine to be when i grew up. shit, i still want it to be that way. he adopted a mini horse, made a fantasy factory with ramps, a foam pit, and most importantly a hoop. he did everything. i remember one episode of rob & big where he donated a bunch of clothes, most he hadn’t even worn. if my memory serves me right, while looking through his clothes, he mentioned how he used to pay for brand name clothes, but now they either pay him to wear their clothes, or send him clothes for free. i couldn’t believe it, i couldn’t wait until i had reached that level of success bwoyyyy. i remember my first time on hollywood blvd, papparazzi were taking photos of someone walking past us, and when i looked, it was big! young me was hype! i looked around, but rob was nowhere to be found.
thinking about it, i gotta find a website to stream old eps one time for the one time.
