on the way home from friday’s, i played you a few songs i thought were really good. in fact, i played you two songs that were perfect in my eyes. devil in a new dress by kanye west and say it by maggie rogers. those two songs mean a lot to me, and give me a metric to aim for when making music. i’m glad you fell in love with say it, because that song is a masterpiece. it felt good to get up again, i’ve always enjoyed our time together because our connection is real.
and nothing can, and will ever change that.
