i’m glad tom doesn’t play for the patriots any more. i don’t know why, but i am glad lol. today he beat a-rod to go to the superbowl for his 10th time. just the fact i typed that is insane. growing up, tom brady and the new england patriots were the root and cause of so much suffering for me. shit, even up to 2 years ago he was giving me hell in foxborough. despite all of this, i can’t deny his greatness. he is a 6-time superbowl champion. he’s got/been to 13 conference championships, which is more than most, if not all, ref’s. and they don’t even play! superbowl lv will be mahomes vs brady, which of course is how it is. i can’t root for mahomes because he plays my chargers twice a year, and i can’t root for brady because of all the pain he’s caused me throughout the years, but i’m thinking of letting bygones be bygones and choosing to root for greatness. we shall see.
all i want to see is a good game of football on a february sunday evening.
