on the way to reedy with bagel, alexis, and milo, i put on a crime junkie episode. it was about 3 girls who got killed at an overnight camp the summer of 1977. it was tragic because one of the girls didn’t want to stay overnight after convincing her mom to go weeks beforehand. she felt confident to stay away from home, but the day of, she didn’t want to go. her mom told her to stay one night, and if she didn’t like it, she would pick her up in the morning. little did anybody know, her, along with 2 other girls were going to be killed that night. when we got to reedy, i was so creeped out on the trails, that we took the short route instead of the the regular route. the walk was 35 minutes instead of an hour. i couldn’t help myself, i was terrified in broad day. i think i need to stop listening to these podcasts because it’s affecting my mental at this point, but true crime has become one of my addictions lately.
you know what they say, too much of anything is bad.
i’m realizing this first hand at the moment.
