phil got his first win as a colt, and his first win at lucas oil. man, i’m so happy. the team looked great this week. defense put the pressure on kirk, forced a few turnovers, and even got a safety. the run/pass balance was efficient, and phil looked real good. now on to the chargers. tyrod was out, so herbert started. short-notice start against the defending champs in kansas city, and he looked comfortable. i wasn’t able to catch all of it, but i watched sporadically as i was at fridays and tj maxx. we should’ve ran the ball on the 4th and 1 in ot, but hindsight is 20/20. even losing by 3 in ot to the chiefs, i still feel like today was a win. herbert should start from here on out, but that’s my opinion.
both teams 1-1 as of week 2. with la playing carolina next week and the colts playing the jets, i’m looking forward to winning records from both teams.
