snow in april, 4.4.24

first off, happy gday to my mom! she’s literally my hero. in lab today, mehriban turns to me and asks if today was my mom’s birthday. i almost break my neck looking at her. i asked how she knew and she said she remembered talking about getting flowers last year because today is her dad’s birthday as well. i thought of two things. one, her memory is incredible so shoutout to her. and two, it’s already been a year? crazy how fast 365 days flies by. so last night when i went to sleep, i let bagel out and was surprised to see freezing rain. i didn’t think much of it, but when i woke up this morning, it stuck as snow. it was maybe an inch or two, but it was still coming down consistently. i took a photo and sent it to money and dbaze because of how in shock i was. i have never in my life seen snow in april.

but there’s a first thing for everything, right?
