sleeping-in late, 5.26.24

bagel has been having trouble sleeping at night. he starts to lick his lips, then he jumps on and off the bed. when i let him out, he pees then comes back in. sometimes when i let him out late night, he doesn’t even pee. he’ll walk out into the yard and stand there. i don’t know what’s going on because this has been happening since last summer. as of recently, it’s been a little worse. we did all the bloodwork, all the diagnostics, and all the tests at the vet. everything has come back negative, thankfully. maybe he’s just going through a phase? either way, i’ve been waking up every hour or so at night, then sleeping until 8/9am, letting him out, then crashing again until 1pm or 2pm since friday. luckily, it’s a long weekend so i can afford to sleep-in, but i hope both him and i can get some good sleep coming up on next week.
