we went to pick up dad’s new whip today. we
dropped his off for a trade-in, then him and my mom signed a check cash for the
rest of the car. that’s some boss moves i’m tryna recreate in my future.
well-deserved!!! he’s a great negotiator, when we were talking to the finance
lady (who is also khmer) she said the dealership lost $800 on the car itself,
but they’ll make it up on the trade-in. it’s a business so they will have to
make money somehow, but still, to beat the dealer for $800 on a 2022 in the
middle of a chip drought?! goat status, but ya’ll already knew this about my
dad.
also, rip to those who lost their lives 20 years ago today. i’ll never forget that day and the feelings that came along with it. i still get goosebumps thinking about 9/11, hard to believe it’s been 20 years. i was just 8 years old…
