we went to shybirds today for lunch. it was tom, alan, and i. i got a double smash burger along with some fries and chicken bites. tom got a blt because he said his wife won’t allow him to eat bacon at home lol. alan got a chicken sandwhich. because we didn’t have much to do, we sat down and ate. tom said i have to make it to the cape because it’s beautiful. i looked at the pictures and it was a different kind of aesthetic, but i liked it. i’m warming up to this new england lifestyle, little by little. everything looks old and used, but there’s something special about this place. i can feel the significance of its presence in my life rising. the thing is i don’t want to have to look back for this place to be special, i wanna live in nostalgia now.
what a conundrum.
