at a light waiting to turn on concord mills boulevard, i pointed out to alexis the sequoia at the perpendicular light. the sequoia was black, but had all-terrains, a roof basket with auxillary lights, and was lifted. i was telling her how rare it is to see another sequoia built for overlanding. after our turn, as their light went green, i saw him in my rearview. he switched to the left lane, and as he was driving up, i wanted to say something to him. when he pulled up next to me, our light was red. we put our windows down and he told me nice truck lol. idk what i responded with because our interaction was so quick, but i think i told him same, and that i was telling alexis how nice his sequoia looked. he asked where i got my ladder and i told him gobi for $280. when he heard the price, he said damn! before he turned at the next left, we wished each other well. i drove the rest of the way home thinking how cool it was to interact with another sequoia owner, and how rare it is to find someone who appreciates what i drive as much as i do.
