i thought it was sebastian’s jeep parked outside when i came to work, but i wasn’t so sure. fast forward 3 hours into my shift and mi parce walks in. it was so good to see my guy. i’m fortunate to have a friend, a brother like him in my life. we caught each other up on our lives and our families. i’m graduating soon and his acl is healing well. he can now do forward and backwards running, which is impressive given the timeframe of his injury to his surgery to his recovery. mi parce just left, but it was a reminder i have to do a better job in linking up with the family outside of the shop or the cribo.
staying at home is comfortable, but as they say, life is on the other side of your comfort zone.
