there’s a crane fly who flew into the house, then into my room for the past 2 days. i try not to kill insects, although i do slip up under fearful conditions, so i let him be. tonight, he got his legs caught on something and was on the ground upside down. i tried to flip him right side up, but then kept reverting onto his back. eventually, i got him to stand right side up. he didn’t seem injured, but what do i know. i figured he must be hungry, so i took a cotton swab and had him hang from it. i brought him to the backyard and let him go. i hope he wasn’t injured, better yet i hope the young fella gets something to eat, too.
i would be starvin marvin after 2.5 days no food.
