i’m in line today at sam’s. i’ve got a total of 8 items: dog food, 3-2 pack salads, dog treats, orange chicken, 36 pack of brisk ice tea, and a pack of pre-made tikka masala meals. as i’m in line (a very long line), chan calls me. besides hi, the first thing he asks is if i want to go skydiving. i’m like fool, do you not know who i am?! it’s no way you will catch me jumping out of planes, although there’s this indoor skydiving simulator in concord i want to try. he then says he wants to go to scarowinds with a few homies, to which i agreed we should go. he then asked if i was going to ride any rides to which i responded that going is one thing, riding rollercoasters is another.
i might confront this fear of heights one day, but that one day isn’t today.
