running to commitment, 3.18.22

last summer, i tried eating salad for lunch for a month straight. it honestly made me feel good. i didn’t notice it until i went out to eat for lunch with a few coworkers and felt tired after. i think this year, i’m going to try running a mile a day for a month. i wanna see how it goes and where it takes me. last night after walking bagel one mile, i ran a mile in my fastest time maybe ever? it was 9:38. last summer my quickest mile was 9:59. i ran here and there, but i wasn’t steadfast with it. i wanted running to be routine, but i didn’t commit. committing has to be top 3 biggest issues i have within myself. i get inspired, then once it wears itself out, the motivation leaves, too.

let’s see if it changes this year.
