i always see kell'z first car on my walk with bagel. like the same exact make, model, year, and color. i never have my phone on me to send her a photo, but today i did. i texted her a photo of the car and it sparked a conversation about old times and new times. she has her own place in durham now so she doesn’t have to commute too far to work. apparently shelby lives in charlotte now, too. things have changed so much for the people around me, and i hope they’re all happy with those changes.
because lord knows, this life can be be cut throat at times no matter how green the grass seems on the other side.
