after work, my dad was cutting down trees for a
project in the garden. one of the trees he cut was pretty big, but it wouldn’t
fall. i offered to push it from the back with a log we cut earlier, but he said
it was too dangerous. instead, we tied one end of bagel’s 100ft lead plus some string to
the hitch step of the sequoia, and the other end around the tree. i got in and let it idle drive its way to
pulling the tree down. i don’t offroad or even overland as the sequoia is a pavement princess, but at least i can say it’s been used to pull down a tree.
which is pretty cool if you ask me.
