out of all my years living near the pnc, nothing positive has ever come out of concert traffic with the exception of tonight. i was riding back from the pineville dog park and wingstop with bagel. when bagel is in the car, i typically don’t listen to music. the car makes him nervous, and he deals with it, so i don’t want to make it worse for him than it already is. we’re sitting in traffic and i hear a song i can’t quite remember at the time of writing this that i love. it’s coming from a car going the opposite direction. i’m sitting back with the windows down thinking this dude got some good taste in music. fast forward a minute and some change and a radio host comes on. turns out it’s a local radio station. i turn the dial and put the volume on low for the next quarter-mile bagel and i are in traffic.
not going to lie, so far so good.
