the internet at work went out today, perhaps because of the storm? i don’t know, but this guy from yugoslavia came to fix it. we were conversing about the area, and he mentioned how plaza 20 years ago was dangerous. he said people wouldn’t even walk down the street like they do now. i haven’t been in charlotte that long, but it’s crazy how gentrification works.
plaza is crazy poppington these days and i couldn’t imagine it any other way.
