i’m sitting here at work looking out the window. it’s currently friday, april 10th and there are few cars driving around, and even less people walking. we are in quarantine, so this makes sense, but to see plaza on a nice friday evening dead is bizzare. from bars, to family restuarants, plaza is a hub for weekend entertainment and fun. in fact, i would go as far to say central ave running through plaza is one of the liveliest streets on any given night in the city. right now things are calm and peaceful, and not to take anything away from that, but once this is over, plaza will awaken in such a vibrant and lively manner.
i can’t wait.
