once i get intrigued by something, i have to do continuous research until real-life responsibilities take me away or i find something else that piques my interest. i’ve been researching pablo escobar all day out of curiosity. i’m fascinated by his life and how he was able to amount such a massive wealth in a fairly short period of time. at the height of his career, pablo was making $420 million a week. that’s 60 million a day!!! it’s estimated he was supplying 80% of the world’s cocaine in the 80s. unbelievable numbers. although he made medellin the murder capital of the world, i believe there are redeeming qualities to be found in anyone regardless of what they have done. i love pablo’s dedication to his local community, his family, and most of all his ambition. he made billions in cash. that’s impressive. not stocks, not bonds, not assets, but cash.
