i was supposed to be at work at 2:30pm. i left my house at 1:15pm because i needed to fill up on gas, head to the bank, and pay rent. i filled my gas no problem. machine was out of receipt so i had to walk-in for it. minor inconvenience, not bad. as soon as i get to the bank, the line was the longest line i’ve ever seen. still i wait. i end up waiting for 30 minutes. when it’s my turn, i get to a bank teller who is in training, making my time at the bank a little longer. it’s not her fault though, she did an absolute great job. when i get out and go to pay my rent, of course there’s traffic and i’m hitting every red light. after i pay my rent, i’m on my way to work and i take a short cut. turns out the street is completely blocked off due to construction lol. i don’t end up getting to work until 3:30pm, an hour after i said i’d be there.
