the grass has been getting long, so dono wanted
to cut it. i told him we would probably have to change the oil of the lawn
mower. it hasn’t been done since 2018 when my dad visited me, and niether of us
knew how to do it so we googled it. the procedure was pretty simple. flip the
lawn mower on it’s side, with the air filter facing upwards, and let the oil
drain. when that oil came out, it was black af. it was like coffee with no
dairy, no creamer, no sugar, but with the consistency of pudding. it was nasty,
and i don’t know how that lawn mower survived grass cutting with that oil. we
got it changed, and dono cut the grass.
the yard looks much better now, but with spring upon us, it’ll be back to where it started in the next two weeks, i bet.
