it is official. for the first time since world war ii, the nc state fair is canceled. world war ii!!! dog, cancel this year. that was my last straw. we gotta go back to december 31st 2019 and redo this whole thing. all the holidays were lined up perfectly on the weekends, even cinco de mayo landed on taco tuesday. i don’t be celebrating holidays like that, except for christmas, but i was looking forward to being festive this year. with everything going on, fall was supposed to be the saving grace of this year, and the state fair would’ve been a big part of it. now it’s like hell nah, all the plans ruined.
we gotta work with what we got, but man, my soul is hurting like a mf right now.
