i posted for the first time on nextdoor today. there was a husky running loose on my walk with bagel. i tried to catch her but she ran away. she would come back because of bagel, but then when i’d lean in to grab her, she’d jump and run in the opposite direction. at one point, i was thinking of taking bagel’s lead off to get her, but then on second thought, there was no way i was risking btg’s life (although i’m confident he would’ve stayed by my side) in case he ran into the street.
after a few attempts, she never came back curious of bagel. i went on my way and according to the comments on my nextdoor post, she gets out very often.
